Synopsis
The episode begins with Paula's protests about going to Scaraba. The others however still want to go so they meet up with Ned, the Crusty Sea Captain. Happy that his relationship with Maude, the Magic Cake Woman, has became better, he invites them into his ship to sail onward to Scaraba. While traveling on the southern sea, the Chosen Four starts singing Come Sail Away. After they're done singing, they suddenly get attacked by the Kraken. Paula is then stunned by an unknown fear. The flashback then rolls in.
Southern Paula and her old dad are once again fishing. Paula manages to keep her nicotine addictions to 2 packs thanks to her dad. She then suddenly catches a trout that lands into the boat, dropping her pack along with it. As her old dad takes both the trout and the pack with one hand, the Kraken comes in and tears away the arm that was holding the fish and pack, leaving a traumatized Paula and her father that has now one arm left.
As the flashback ends, Paula is still in shock. She tries to talk to Ness about it but Ness is not paying attention while he watches Ned throws his slippers at the Kraken. As the Kraken roars, Paula suddenly triggers something within her, helping her realize PSI Freeze Ω and defeats the Kraken with it. Paula's attitude then gain a huge confidence boost and as soon as they reach Scaraba, she leaves the audience in a cliffhanger saying that exploring Scaraba is not going to happen.
