The One Before The Last One was the fifth episode of the fourth and final season of Fobbies are Borange, making it Episode 41. Storywise it went from the False Ending to the arrival in Cave of the Past. It was the first episode to not feature an opening from The Narrator.

Synopsis
The show begins without the narrator's opening statement. Ness wakes up at Fire Spring. Poo tells Jeff to stop making the revival machine he was building out of rocks and lava as Ness wonders what happened. As Paula explained about how Ness simply lost consciousness, Poo added that Paula was about to kill herself after kissing him but Paula stopped him. Poo then tells Ness was talking in his sleep about Saturn Valley, not knowing what was it. After the conclude that this is the next destination, they teleport away and the theme song starts playing.
Once they reached Saturn Valley and explain Poo about the Mr. Saturn, they meet up with Gerardo Montague, Dr. Andonuts, Mr. Saturn and Apple Kid. They reveal that they been working on the Phase Distorter. Dr. Andonuts explains they first planned to make it the largest and smartest dartboard but once they found out the cost of metal darts, they converted into a time-space traveling machine. Apple Kid then reveals that they found out where Gyigas is. The scientists then proceeded to explain that he is millions of years in the past and that the Phase Distorter will help them get there. However, as they try the machine, it explodes, turning Paula's completly black. Dr. Andonuts then reveals they lack of Zexonite needed in order for it to work and they only wanted to see the Chosen Four destroy it. As they're giving up and Paula is about to kill Dr. Andonuts, Jeff recalls him about the meteorite that crashed in Onett. As Dr. Andonuts believe there is a chance, he sends the Chosen Four to go retrieve it, telling his son to watch himself. As the Chosen Four teleport away, Gerardo talks with Dr. Andonuts about his son but Dr. Andonuts mistake him for Patrick again and reveals his first name is Brice.
As they arrive in Onett, Ness is shocked that it is night in Onett and everyone are hiding inside their homes. As Ness recalls all the events he been through here, he seems to get a very serious tone until Paula gives him candy to snap him out of it. As Poo talks with Paula about if love could develop and that Paula denies it, they walk toward the meteorite. As Ness asks for more candy, Paula tells him there might some within the meteorite. Before she could realize her mistake, Ness takes a hold of the meteorite with his bare hands, burning himself. As they prepare to return to Saturn Valley, Ness asks them to wait. As they watch him, he asks them if they ave any more candy.
As they hand over the ore to Dr. Andonuts, he tells them to go rest for tomorrow will be the longest day of their life. The following morning, the Chosen Four makes some preparation talk and talks about the prophecy. As they board the Phase Distorter, Dr. Brice Andonuts starts the process but has to stop after warping through space before warping through time. He then tells them they forgot a critical point being the fact they cannot warp through time in human form. As he informs them they have to transfert their mind into robots, Ness and Poo accepts the news with enthusiams. As they are getting ready, the Star Master comes in. He then gives to Poo the ability to use PSI Starstorm Ω. As Poo asks why the Star Master didn't gave all his abilities earlier, he simply states it would have made the game too easy and leaves. As everyone is ready, Dr. Brice Andonuts proceed with the operation. After giving his final words, Dr. Andonuts finishes the process and sends them in the past. Once they arrive, Ness is totally amazed by the experience. The episode then ends without the narrator's closing comment.

- Ness' line "Space, the final frontier!" is a reference from Star Trek.
Notes
- At the time of the episode, lewahi had a cold, making his Poo voice difficult to make.
- Sabrina Kay, the original actress for the Star Master, was replaced by Benjamin in this episode since she was unavailable.
- Dr. Andonuts was given the name Brice as a reference to Starmen.net forum member DarthAndonuts, whose real name is Brice.
