Whirr ( To Whirr, Whirring, Whirred ) is a verb that describes the act of running around either in a straight line or a circle and muttering "Whirr" in some fashion. The result of this is being able to travel across space and time to any area you've previously visited. It's rumored that only men are able to whirr, since they possess the key to whirring, called a Dongle. Recently a confirmed female named Trisha was seen whirring, which jars the actual definition of what is required in order to be able to whirr.

At the end of the series, it was confirmed that Ness lied to Paula about her teleporting ability. Paula learned to whirr soon after.
